Dollars and Sense: The Cost Effectiveness of Small Schools: Rural School & Community Trust

Click on the  link below to read a report about the cost effectiveness of small schools, great schools like Prescott School!

There is so much important information in this report - this report just makes sense - common sense.

People deserve to have stability and common sense come back to Missoula in regard to its schools and neighborhoods.

What the research has shown is that it is so important for children, families, neighborhoods, and cities in general to have a small public school in each neighborhood.

A public school in each of Missoula's neighborhoods is exactly what we USED to have. We still actually have the school, however, many are closed and used for different things.

Over the years, and little by little, our smaller neighborhood schools have been taken away - and in each of the neighborhoods that have lost their school, a true tragedy occurred. Just a handful of people can cause huge devastation to our community's neighborhoods.

Let's turn this around. We can reverse a lot of the damage done to our neighborhoods if a lot of us get informed regarding the importance of the neighborhood public school.

A great start is for as many people in Missoula as possible to read the report below.

It's an easy report to read. It's an uplifting report to read as everything you knew instinctively is what is right for our schools and neighborhoods.

Unfortunately, Missoula International School, has had a hold of Prescott School.  The Rattlesnake Valley needs our beloved Prescott School for the good of our public school children.

Again, click the link below to read an amazingly informative report on small schools.
