MCPS long-range planning session weighs building improvements Missoulian article by Rob Chaney on February 5, 2013

Click on the link below to read an article published in the February 5th, 2014 edition of the Missoulian.

psm can't go into detail now, however, psm believes this study to be a SHAM!!!

To not discuss Prescott in regard to including it into the plans for the future of Rattlesnake Valley schools is corruption at its best.

Why are they not discussing Prescott in as deep a level as Rattlesnake and other schools?

Because, as Nick Salmon, the facilitator, told psm when asked, he said that Prescott School was not an "ACTIVE SCHOOL"!!!

Why are we not an active school?  Because we had our school closed by corrupt and disloyal  Trustees in 2004!! The same Trustees which threw Roosevelt down the river also threw

Prescott School down the river.

Both these schools have been victims as they are PERFECT FOR THE PRIVATE SCHOOL WHICH LEASED AND BOUGHT(in the case of Roosevelt School) THEM!!

That's all for now, however, psm has lots more to say about this SHAM of a meeting!!

Actually, one more thing - lots of MIS MOOCHERS AT THE MEETING!!!

They are writing suggestions on the Prescott Board which was provided by the study committee.

By the way - this meeting was attended by mostly district employees, study committee members, and as mentioned - the MIS MOOCHERS!! Hardly anyone at the meeting that one would consider the "public". And there were ZERO comments for many of the schools on the poster paper provided!!

WHY DON'T THEY JUST GO OUT AND BUILD THEIR OWN SCHOOL?!!!

MCPS long-range planning session weighs building improvements

A Poem by Michael Mugits dedicated to all closed schools everywhere!

Prescott School Missoula found this poem which psm will dedicate to all the closed schools everywhere.

Trustees who have voted for a school closure fail to understand the value of a public neighborhood school.

For this reason every closed school needs to be reevaluated and in psm's opinion reopened as the enrollment increase MCPS is experiencing calls for the reopening of Prescott School.

Prescott School - a jewel in the Rattlesnake Valley which needs to return for public school use!

Years ago as a boy
I recall with great joy
Everything I had learned
And the future I had yearned.
All of the hopes and dreams,
teachers, classmates and teams.
I looked at the building and lawn.
The playground was long gone.
So were the echoes of laughter,
The big sign above the front door
read Senior Center of Longshore.
I muttered in despair…
A School Was Once There.”

Input welcome on MCPS facilities planning

The input by the private school will most likely take precedent over any comments by the public if the Roosevelt School sale issue attitude continues by MCPS Trustees and other officials.

Mother-daughter authors, mayor celebrate reading at Missoula International School Missoulian article published on February 8, 2014

Click on the link below to read a Missoulian article written by Dylan Chaffin reporting on a reading activity at Missoula International School. MIS is leasing Prescott School in the lower Rattlesnake. Prescott School is a public school, however, due to disloyal MCPS Trustees and superintendents Prescott is now housing private school children. Prescott School was built in 1893 for Missoula public school children and maintained since then (also a NEW school was built in 1950-51). To house private school children in Prescott School while our public school children are being bused out of the Rattlesnake Valley is against the Montana constitution's Trust Law. Montana's Trust Law states that the beneficiaries of a public institution are public school children!

Missoula International School goes buggy with Watershed Education Network - Conserve Montana

Click on the link below to read an article prescott school missoula came across while surfing the internet (not for MIS related links).

The article from Conserve Montana fails to mention that Missoula International School is leasing one of Missoula's favorite public schools at the expense of Missoula's public school children and Missoula taxpayers!
